Nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you!

Hi there! Welcome to our blog. We are so excited that you are here with us! We wanted to briefly introduce ourselves and tell you what you can expect from this space. 😊

Best Life, Simplified can best be described as a passion project created by a mother/daughter team. After working in fields focused on helping people, we decided it was time to expand our reach through this business. We are both the type of people that others reach out to for help. In addition to our work experience, we have both experienced different health issues that have made us realize how important it is to find your best self!

A little bit about Katie– I am a registered dietitian with a passion for helping others improve their overall health and wellness. I received a master’s degree in Nutrition from Arizona State University in 2012. During my time as a dietitian, I have worked at a critical access hospital in Montana. This position has given me the opportunity to gain valuable experiences in a variety of areas of nutrition. I have also completed advanced training to become a certified diabetes educator and a certified lactation consultant.

Next up is Mary–I have a bachelor of science degree in business and marketing. I have had a unique career path over the years. I currently work as a regional ombudsman which means that I advocate for seniors and disabled individuals within my region in Montana. Prior to that I worked as a marketing director for an assisted living. I also owned a gift basket store for 15 years. The common denominator in all of the positions that I have held over the years is helping people.

This blog will mix real life experience with research based health information. Ideally, it will help you navigate to your best life in the most simplistic way possible!

Please share any ideas/suggestions with us in the comments or via email. We would love to hear from you!
